The Conference includes a range of events and workshops including:
The Welcome BBQ
This is s great opportunity to break the ice meet up with old friends and make new friends. The welcome BBQ has been an institution since the first conference and has proved to be a great way to kick off events. So much so that other conferences have now switched to the welcome BBQ theme. The concept is to provide candidates a relaxed non threatening environment to get to know each other and ease into the weekend. There is always a great Barbie and Salads as well as some cold drinks and great conversation.
There is no doubt that the welcome BBQ is a great way to start the conference.
Drinks with the trade
This event is on Saturday afternoon and gives conference delegates and the trade representatives an opportunity to get together in an informal atmosphere over a few drinks and have a chat, discuss products and solutions. It has proved to be very popular with both trade representatives and the conference delegates since it was introduced 3 years ago at the Ballarat Conference.
Conference Dinner and X Awards Presentation
Another great social gathering when all delegates, speakers, trade representatives and organisers get a chance to let their hair down and celebrate the achievements of fellow broadcasters. There is little doubt that this is one of the great social events at the conference and creates an opportunity for fellowship, networking and interaction with all involved in the conference.
All the events mentioned in this article are included in the cost of your registration there are no hidden cost or surprises just great value for money. The SCMA work hard to ensure that the Conference is as affordable and inclusive as possible for all delegates who attend
