Recommendations for Travel to Ballarat Conference

If you are located near the Hume Highway  - It is recommended that you take the Hume Highway directly to Melbourne the travel on the Western Ring Road and then onto the Ballarat Freeway.

This is the quickest way to get to Ballarat if you are near theHume Highway.

From Melbourne - The Ballarat Freeway is the best option if you are travelling viaMelbourne.

Recommendations for Rail Travel to Ballarat

Ballarat has a VFT rail service fromMelbournethat runs almost hourly throughout the day fromMelbourne’s Southern Cross Station. The trip to Ballarat takes between 45 Minutes and 1 hour by train depending on what service you get. All the time tables are available on line at       www.vline.com.au/pdf/timetables/ballarat.pdf

Recommendations for Air Travel to Ballarat

If you are flying intoMelbourneAirportyou have several options.

There is the Shuttle bus betweenMelbourneairport and Ballarat and all the information on that service is available via their website http://www.airportshuttlebus.com.au/

Another option is to catch a sky bus intoMelbourneand then catch the train to Ballarat if that is the way you want to go.
